Blueberry Streusel

Ingredients:

1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 2 c. all-purpose flour 2 t. double-acting baking powder 1/2 t. baking soda 1/2 t. salt 1/2 c. buttermilk 2 c. fresh blueberries 1/2 c. flour 1 t. cinnamon 1/2 t. ground nutmeg 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. cold butter 1/2 c. chopped pecans


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture. Pour into well-greased 9” x 13” pan. Top with blueberries. Mix the flour, sugar and spices together. Cut into small pieces and blend with a pastry blender. Mixture should be crumbly. Sprinkle over blueberries; scatter pecans on top. Bake 35 minutes.
