Caramelized Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

2 T. unsalted butter 4-1/4 lbs. sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1” dice 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar 1/2 c. Steen’s 100% Pure Cane Syrup 1/4 c. dark molasses 1/4 c. dark corn syrup 1/8 t. freshly grated nutmeg 1/8 t. ground cloves Pinch ground allspice 1/4 t. ground cinnamon


Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease large baking dish with the butter. Toss the sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl the the brown sugar, cane syrup, molasses, corn syrup, nutmeg, cloves, allspice and cinnamon to coat evenly. Pour into greased baking dish and roast until fork tender, about 1 hour.
