Chocolate Marshmallow Cherry Kisses

Ingredients:

8 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate 16 marshmallows 16 maraschino cherries with stems


Directions:

Make a slit in the top of the marshmallows with a sharp knife. Insert a cherry into each slit; a third of the cherry should stick out above the marshallow. Heat the chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat, put in a small bowl, and cool slightly. Using a fork to support the bottom of each marshmallow, dip the marshmallows in the chocolate until just the top third of the cherry is visible. Place on wax paper and refrigerate 20 minutes.
