Delicious Potatoes

Ingredients:
1 large clove of garlic, minced 1 large onion, sliced 3 T. butter or margarine 1 large or 2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced 3/4 c. heavy cream 1/2 c. milk 1 t. salt
Directions:
In medium sized pan, cook garlic and onion in butter over slow heat until tender, about 5 minutes. Add sliced potatoes and cream, milk, salt and pepper. Cook over very low heat about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
