Ingredients:

1 clove garlic finely chopped 1 T. fennel seeds, crushed 2 t. dried thyme 3/4 t. salt 1-1/2 t. black pepper 1-1/2 t. olive oil 3/4 lb. flank steak


Directions:

Mix garlic, fennel seeds, thyme, salt, 1/2 t. pepper and 1/2 t. oil in a small bowl. Rub over flank steak. Heat remaining teaspoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak, cook 5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
