Garlic Soup with Poached Eggs

Ingredients:
2 thick slices country bread, crusts removed 4 cloves garlic finely chopped 2 T. olive oil 1 t. paprika 4 c. chicken stock 4 eggs
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F. In a flameproof casserole, fry the bread with the garlic in the oil until golden. When you turn the slices, sprinkle on the paprika. Remove to a blender or food processor and purée with a little of the stock. Return to the casserole. Add the remaining stock and bring to a boil. Break the eggs into 4 small dishes and pour into the soup one at a time. Cook in the oven 6 to 8 minutes, until the eggs are set.
