Grilled Peaches with Amaretto Glaze

Ingredients:

4 T. unsalted butter 2 T. granulated sugar 2 T. amaretto or other almond liquor or syrup 1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper


Directions:

In a small pan over high heat, melt the glaze ingredients. Stir constantly until the mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Halve and pit the peaches. Grill over high heat until browned in spots and warm throughout, 8-10 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes. Brush the peaches with more glaze each time you turn them. Serve the peaches warm with vanilla or caramel ice cream.
