Overnight Soufflé

Ingredients:

16 slices bread, buttered, cubed 2 lbs. mild cheddar 10 eggs 2 onions grated 5 c. milk 1-1/2 t. salt 1 T. dry mustard 1 t. Worcestershire sauce 1/8 t. cayenne pepper


Directions:

Layer half the bread in a 9” x 13” glass baking dish. Spread cheese over bread. Beat eggs lightly and add onion, milk, salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper; mix well. Pour over top of bread and cheese. Cover loosely, and refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle remaining bread over top, then bake, uncovered, for 1 hour in 350°F. oven.
