Pierogi Dough

Ingredients:

2 c. unbleached flour 1 large egg 1 T. vegetable oil 1 t. kosher salt 1/4 c. milk 1/4 c. water


Directions:

Place flour in large bowl. In measuring cup, combine egg, oil and salt and beat well with fork. Combine liquids in a separate cup, and add to egg/oil mixture to make 3/4 cup. Add liquid ingredients to flour and mix until blended. Knead dough on floured surface until no longer sticky, about 15 minutes. Dough will look and feel very smooth. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
