Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

18 chicken wings 1 medium onion 2 garlic cloves 3 scallions 1/2 c. soy sauce 2 t. allspice crushed in a mortar 2 t. crushed hot red pepper flakes 1/4 t. freshly grated nutmeg 1 t. sesame oil 1 t. dark brown sugar


Directions:

Chop the onions, garlic and scallions. Place in a food processor with the remaining ingredients and process to make a thick sauce. Pour over the chicken wings and marinate 4 hours or overnight. Drain the wings and place them in a broiler pan. Pour remaining sauce in a saucepan, boil and reduce to a simmer. Broil untile well glazed and cooked through, about 20 minutes. Turn once during baking and baste with heated sauce.
